Diving

Exotic marine creatures such as lion fish and manta rays populate Thailand's coral reefs.

Ko Tao is world famous for its secluded bays and shallow reefs with weak currents.

Diving on the West Coast is based around the resorts of Phuket, Krabi and Ko Phi Phi. Perhaps three of the most famous dive spots are Shark's Point (named after the leopard sharks found near the sea floor), Anemone Reef and the Ko Phi Phi National Park.

Depending on the weather, these areas can be explored all year round.
